Writing competitions are a great way to for young writers to showcase their work and get motivated to write. Unfortunately, most competitions are restricted geographically. This blogpost is dedicated to collecting opportunities for students writing in English across the globe.

Who can participate: Open to students from any country, 18 or younger on submission deadline, 14 or younger to be considered for Junior Prize

6 winners from 3 categories (Humanities, STEM, and Social Sciences) will receive a total of $20,000 in cash prizes and scholarships.

Who can participate: High school students grades 9-12 worldwide are invited to enter.
Cash prizes of up to $2000, along with Bennington scholarships up to full tuition ($60,000+) per year
